2 offenders escape from Tzaneen Correctional Centre

LIMPOPO – Two sentenced offenders escaped from the Tzaneen Correctional Centre on Wednesday at around 21:00.

This was confirmed by the area commissioner of Polokwane management area, Kenneth Mthombeni.

Oscar Taula Senyolo was serving 1 189 days for a parole violation, while Cassius Solly Mambo Nkuna was serving three years and 90 days for further charges on rape.

They were both to appear in court today.

Mthombeni urges the public to contact the nearest police station if they happen to see them and not to approach them as they might be armed and dangerous.
