POLOKWANE – The 36-year-old man who killed his four sons by slitting their throats appeared in the Magatle magistrate’s court today.
He has been charged with four counts of murder.
The four boys, aged between four and 13 were laid to rest in Zebediela on Saturday.
Department of health spokesperson, Billy Teffo, said the man was currently undergoing psychological analysis to determine his state of mind in view of the gruesome murders of his own children.
According to Col Ronel Otto, the accused told the magistrate that he was not ready and willing to apply for legal representative and bail.
The case was remanded to 6 October for a bail application.
