Man is attacked by bull

POLOKWANE – Honnetsweng Emergency Services was called to a plot in Dalmada on Thursday after a man was hit and injured by a bull.
One of the witnesses, Damien Raffray, who also assisted at the scene, said the injured man was taking the bull to the other side of the fence when it suddenly attacked him, causing him to land on his back.
“I was busy in the house when I heard the neighbour scream. When I looked outside, I saw a man being flung into the air by the bull. I then rushed over as other men tried to chase the bull away,” said Raffray.
He said he, along with the plot’s personnel, managed to stabilise the man and stop the bleeding after emergency personnel were called.
The man was transported to the Pietersburg Provincial Hospital, where x-rays showed he had injured his chest and ribs.
He is now in a stable condition.
