His Madiba sculpture a real masterpiece
Lucas is a talented gr. 10 learner at E.D.L Rampola High School, and in honour of Madiba's birthday on July 18, he crafted a spitting image of Mandela.

Lucas is a talented gr. 10 learner at E.D.L Rampola High School, and in honour of Madiba’s birthday on July 18, he crafted a spitting image of Mandela.
While standing in the warmth of the sun on Monday morning at the school, Lucas told Bosveld with great pride that he learned how to craft from his neighbour, and that this was only his second masterpiece. He also shared with Bosveld his future dream to one day have a career as an artist in South Africa. The principal, Phasha Willy Ramosedi, told Bosveld that he was proud of Lucas and that he could see a bright future for him.
His teacher, Lesetja Sebola, said: “Lucas has a rare talent and we are proud to have him as a learner. We want to see him reach his full potential. His work speaks for itself.
