Musiekpret for the whole family

POLOKWANE – It was an evening full of laughter and music, with some residents even showing off their dance moves during Suikerbekkie’s Musiekpret, which was held at Tom Naudé Technical High School’s hall on Friday evening.

Musiekpret is a well established, successful music game show for the whole family to enjoy. It is ideally used for fundraising, year-end functions, team building and entertainment.

The evening was graced with the presence of Jaco Dixon, a nationwide well-known Musiekpret host. He played songs for the crowd, who had to guess the name of the song and the singer.

Suikerbekkie sold the tickets to the event and also supplied prizes for the winners.

Musiekpret supplied the high quality electronic and sound equipment, which is needed to play the game. Participation took place in teams which were made up of about 10 people.

Each team had a cordless button, which they used to get the judges’ attention. The team that was the quickest to press their button got a chance to accumulate points.

The programme had different categories consisting of music, general knowledge, sounds and others. Team Burika had the highest score at the end of the game and was announced as the winner.

Elbé Maritz, one of the organisers, said the evening went well and everyone had fun.

She said Suikerbekkie would like to thank everyone who made the evening a success as well as those who made donations.

“It was a very enjoyable evening full of fun and laughter. People enjoyed themselves over a few drinks and snacks while trying their luck with the game,” said Maritz.
