Five suspected drug dealers appear in Polokwane court

Five suspected drug dealers appeared briefly in Polokwane magistrate's court on Friday and will remain in custody until their next court appearance.

POLOKWANE – Five suspected drug dealers appeared briefly in Polokwane magistrate’s court on Friday and will remain in custody until their next court appearance said provincial police spokesperson Col Ronel Otto.

“The suspects were arrested in Polokwane for possession and suspected dealing in drugs during a special operation last week.”

 According to the spokesperson, Chiadikaobi Onwuka was arrested for the possession of 132 bags of CAT, 9 bags of crystal meth, 5 rocks of cocaine as well as small bags of dagga. He also had R30 000 in his possession.

Kenneth Maduabuchukwu was arrested for the possession of 4 small bags of CAT and 4 bags of dagga.

Antoni Okeke was arrested for being in possession of CAT as well as an unlicensed fire arm.

Hing Choi was arrested for being in possession of crystal meth and Andy Ma for being in possession of dagga.

They will appear in court on 28 July.
