KHAISO High School's gr. 8 girl learners said they were prepared to change the state of young people's morality

KHAISO High School’s gr. 8 girl learners said they were prepared to change the state of young people’s morality.

This emerged as the learners enrolled as Wayfarers, where they vowed to lead by example. The ceremony was held at the school recently.

Neatly dressed in their Wayfarer uniforms, superintendents of the Wayfarers Association enrolled the girls.

Kgabo Mphahlele of the Wayfarer Association introduced all the superintendents and gave a brief history of the Wayfarer Association.

Phillistus Tebeila, one of the teachers who heads the school’s Wayfarer team said she was excited that some of the learners enrolled as Wayfarers. She said being part of the Wayfarer team would empower and encourage the girls and teach them the gospel of God.

Esther Nchabeleng, one of the Wayfarers spoke on behalf of the girls who enrolled on the day. She vowed that all Wayfarers would do their best to be kind to all living beings, to be well groomed and to serve God.

After the formal programme, the girls and Wayfarer Association superintendents went to the school grounds where they played Wayfarer games and sang songs to celebrate their achievement.
