VIDEO: Armed robbers target jewellery store in Savannah Mall

Savannah Mall management confirmed the robbery and added that they are working with authorities on the matter.

POLOKWANE – Savannah Mall remains open following an armed robbery at a jewellery store this morning.

Footage has emerged of an unknown number of suspects leaving the mall via entrance three before fleeing in a grey sudan shortly after robbing the jewellery store of an unknown number of valuables.

Mall management confirmed the robbery and added that they are working with authorities on the matter.

“There was an incident in the mall this morning and we are currently reviewing footage. Police and the local CPF arrived swiftly on the scene to assist us with the investigation into the matter and the footage has been given to them. There were no injuries or shots fired and security were involved.”

Management could not confirm what was taken, however, they said the incident happened quickly and the suspects fled immediately.
