More thunderstorms expected in Polokwane this week

More wet weather is expected in Polokwane with thunderstorms and rain forecast for most days of the week.

POLOKWANE – Don’t pack away your umbrella just yet as more rain and thunderstorms are on the cards for the city this week.

This follows heavy storms last Friday (October 4) and Sunday (October 6) in certain areas of Polokwane.

Accuweather’s forecast suggests a 25%-88% chance of rain for the week with Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday to get majority of the rain.

Mild to warm temperatures will accompany the cloudy conditions with highs expected in the low to mid twenties and will peak at 28ºC on Wednesday and Thursday.

Partly cloudy to cloudy conditions will persist throughout the week with high humidity levels expected.

Minimum temperatures will range in the mid to high teens.
