“The continuing incidents of the killing of women and children in the province is causing us all sleepless nights. The violence perpetuated against the vulnerable groups of society must just come to an end, more so that every week we speak about these senseless killings that are claiming the lives of our people. People who have differences must just resort to peaceful means of resolving their differences other than resorting to violence. The suspect who has been arrested has to go through the criminal justice system and if found guilty a harsher sentence must me meted to serve as a deterrent to would-be abusers of women and children,” Rakgoale concluded.
