Arrest in Precious Ramabulana’s case
The 21-year old college student was attacked by an unknown man and stabbed multiple time in her room in an off-campus residence in Mokomene on Sunday, 24 November.
LIMPOPO – One person has been arrested for the murder of Capricorn TVET college student, Precious Ramabulana. The arrest was made in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The 21-year old college student was attacked by an unknown man and stabbed multiple time in her room in an off-campus residence in Mokomene on Sunday, 24 November.

Her neighbour heard her scream and alerted the police. Ramabulana was found in a pool of blood with several stab wounds and the motive for the attack remains unknown according to Police Spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo. He added that reports and rumours of sexual assault are unconfirmed.
A press briefing will be held at 10:30 today (Thursday, 28 November) at Karibu Lodge outside Tzaneen, where the national commissioner of the South African Police Service, General Khehla Sitole will speak about the murder.
A prayer service will be held later today at Maname Paradise village in the Makhado Local Municipality at 17:00 in honour of her.
