Four killed, several injured in 3-vehicle crash on N1 South

LIMPOPO – Four people were killed and eight injured after three vehicle collided on the N1 road between Middlefontein and the high accident zone, reported Traffic Policing Affairs Limpopo.

It is alleged that a Toyota Corolla, a VW Caddy and a Toyota Yaris collided after the one of the vehicles lost control and veered into the oncoming lane.

Three passengers and the driver in the Yaris died on the scene. One person sustained very serious injuries and a further seven people sustained serious injuries.

The exact cause of the collision is not yet know and will form part of a police investigation.
