Mokopane businesses being threatened, forced to close
Several businesses have reportedly been forced to close their doors due to the shutdown protests in town.
MOKOPANE – According voice notes being shared on social media groups, protesters are threatening business owners to close their doors.
Employees from a business located in the Nylpark Sentrum said in a voice note that six people warned them to close their doors, or their business will be burned down.
#Day2 of the Shutdown protest started at the Caltex Garage in Dudu Madisha Drive this morning and will continue down Nelson Mandela Drive towards Pretorius Street and then to Retief Street.
