Four dead in head-on crash along R71 outside Polokwane
A Isuzu LDV and Ford LDV collided head-on near Mageng village after Boyne on Saturday
POLOKWANE –Â Four people are confirmed dead after two vehicles collided head-on on the R71 on Saturday, 25 May.
In a Facebook post Traffic Policing Affairs Limpopo said a Isuzu LDV and Ford LDV collided head on near Mageng village after Boyne, after the one vehicle is alleged to have overtaken recklessly into oncoming traffic.

“Four people are confirmed dead. It is reported the fatalities include one woman and three men, all passengers.”
Both drivers and another two passengers sustained very serious injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment, the post on Traffic Policing Affairs Limpopo concluded.
The exact cause of the collision will form part of a police investigation.
