[MUST WATCH] Mayor explains R5 million water project for Flora Park

Executive Mayor, Thembi Nkadimeng, during a meeting with residents of Ward 20, explained that the two month project is going to ensure the community’s water woes become a thing of the past

POLOKWANE  – The Executive Mayor of Polokwane, Cllr Thembi Nkadimeng met with residents of Ward 20 last night, to discuss water challenges that are plaguing the community. She explained to the residents why they don’t have water and shared the news that there is a R5 million rand budget that has been allocated by the Minister of Finance, Tito Mboweni, to alleviate water problems affecting high rising areas of Flora Park and Serala View.

The project will include a pump house, a heavy booster pump as well as a 400 000 litre capacity tank that will supply water to Flora Park.

She gave the residents a breakdown of the two month project that is going to ensure the community’s water woes become a thing of the past.

The project, which will take effect immediately, will land in the hands of Ward 20’s Councillor, Thilivhadi Mashau who will oversee that the entire project goes according to plan.
