[WATCH] Suicide is not always an intentional act, says Reholegile Mehlape
Africa Project against suicide (APAS) together with change leaders from all over Africa and USA, recently held a one day training program in the city with the aim of encouraging people to become agents of change and work in unity to combat suicide in their communities.
POLOKWANE – APAS which was recently launched in South Africa is a movement which encourages people to take responsibility for their own future, to nurture love and life.
I hope that when everyone in attendance leaves this one day program they leave positive with a change on mind and go out there to carry out this mandate of putting an end to this social problem that we face on a daily basis in our communities,” explained Pastor Honey.
Another main speaker, Rev. Jerry Vreeman, flew all the way from USA, Colorado Springs from a organisation called L.I.O.N Outreach International(Leadership in Obscurity Network) to come and inspire as well as motivate attendees to not give up on life.
