#JusticeForThoriso – five suspects arrested in alleged gang-related murder
The five arrested suspects are between the ages of 15 and 16, says the police
POLOKWANE – Five suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of 27-year-old, Thoriso Themane, whose body was found dumped on Erasmus and Cestrum Avenue, in Flora Park over the weekend.
According to preliminary police investigations, Themane was assaulted by the group on Saturday evening (23 February), says police spokesperson, Col Moatshe Ngoepe.

“The victim was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Sunday. The police were summoned and started with the initial investigations which led to the arrests.”
The motive behind this incident is not clear at this stage and Police investigations ate still underway. Gangsterism may not be ruled out and more arrests are expected.” he said.

The arrested suspects, aged between 15 and 16, will appear before the Polokwane Magistarate’s Court soon, Ngoepe added.
