Eskom to implement Stage 2 loadshedding from 13:00

Eskom says this is due to a shortage of capacity

POLOKWANE – Having not had loadshedding since 9 December 2018, Eskom will implement stage 2 loadshedding from 13:00 this afternoon to about 22:00 this evening.

According to the power utility, this is due to a shortage of capacity and the need to “replenish and preserve emergency water and diesel resources to limit load shedding possibility or magnitude thereof in the following week.”

This means that Eskom will need to implement loadshedding now in order to avoid loadshedding in the week, however, there is a high probability that it will continue this week.
