Kunstig en kreatief met verfkwas

Sy is net 14 jaar oud, maar dié kunstenaar spog reeds met 'n kunswerk teen 'n dokter se spreekkamermuur.

POLOKWANE – Angelique Oosthuizen leef haarself in haar kunswerk uit, Review het met haar gaan gesels.

“Ek teken al vandat ek in die kleuterskool is en hou die meeste daarvan om met potlood te teken.”

Angelique ontvang tuisonderrig en is in gr. 9, sy studeer ook somatologie so saam met haar skoolwerk. Haar stokperdjie bly egter teken.
“Om plante en oë te teken is die moeilikste vir my, ek geniet dit om mense en diere te teken. Ek sit gewoontlik op my ouers of my eie bed en teken, vir my is die beste tyd om te teken na 17:00 in die middag.”

Haar ma, Delanie, is baie trots op Angelique, sy vertel hoe dit gebeur het dat Angelique se kunswerk, in die dokter se spreekkamer hang. ” ‘n Dokter in Benoni het gevra om een van haar kunswerke te koop. Dit was nie vir haar maklik om ‘n prys vas te stel nie, maar ek glo dit sal makliker raak. Haar kunswerke lê haar na aan die hart. Iemand in die Kaap het haar vir haar portefeulje gevra.”

Angelique het teken as vak gehad, maar sy het onlangs besluit om dit te los. Sy teken van ander prente af, maar sal ook iets teken wat sy op ‘n fliek gesien het.

“Ek wil graag my kunswerke verkoop, om só my sakgeld aan te vul.”
