Make this one pot fried rice dish for you and your family

Nompilo Junior Mathe Mthombothi, who is a cook shared a creative way of making a one pot fried rice meal on social media

POLOKWANE – This recipe will be sure to have your family and friends asking for more.

You will need:

– Two cups cooked rice

– Two chicken breast

– One medium onion

– One or two eggs

– One red onion

– One glove of garlic

– Frozen Mixed vegetables

– Olive oil

– Spice or marinade

– Butter

– Salt and paper

Method:

First, spice or marinade your chicken then fry it till it is cooked, it should take about five to eight minutes. Then set is aside to rest.

In the same pan, fry onion in olive oil then add garlic, before you add the frozen vegetables and cook for about 5 min, add your rice and mix everything together for a minute or two.

Push the rice aside add butter and cook your egg, then fold your egg with rice and bring back the chicken, mix everything together to combine add salt and paper then serve.
