R100 K reward offered for information that can lead to arrest of highly wanted fugitive

The police in Vhulaudzi outside Thohoyandou are still looking for highly wanted murder fugitive Dorobo Rodney Tshivula (31), after he failed to appear in court in September 2018.

LIMPOPO – Tshivula was earlier granted bail by the Dzanani Magistrate Court and was scheduled to appear in the Thohoyandou High Court on the 17th September 2018,  but he failed and soon after that, the manhunt ensued until today with no success, says Col Moatshe Ngoepe, Spokesperson for the police.

He is sought for murder and failing to comply with bail conditions.

The suspect was initially arrested after he was positively linked to the murder of 29-year-old Suzan Mabala from Phadzima village. According to earlier reports she was reported missing on 19 April and after several weeks of searching, her decomposed body was found dumped in the nearby bushes on 13 May  2017.

Following the discovery of her body, local residnets went on a rampage by barricading the roads and torching the local Vhulaudzi police station.This resulted into 21 people being arrested for various charges relating to public violence including arson.

The police are offering a reward of R100 000 for information that can lead to his re-arrest and subsequent conviction. Anyone with information that can lead to the re-arrest of this suspect, may contact Detective Warrant Officer Rambelani George Mutavhatshindi at 082 702 9890. Alternatively they can contact the 24-hour crime stop number on 0860010111,  the crime Line SMS 32211 or the nearest Police Station, Ngoepe concluded.
