Five people killed in head-on collision on N1-24 – Report
Two children are among the fatalities
LIMPOPO – This after a sedan, traveling South to North, collided head-on with an oncoming Nissan LDV along the N1-24 about 2km before Kranskop, says Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala  Spokesperson for the Department of Transport.
According to reports five people including two children were killed and seven others injured, of which two sustained critical injuries, two serious injuries and three minor injuries.
This information has not yet been confirmed by the Department of Transport.

“Two southbound lanes will be closed for about two hours. At this point in time we are not in a position to release information about the injuries or fatalities,” he adds.
According to reports five people including two children were killed and seven others injured, of which two sustained critical injuries, two serious injuries and three minor injuries.
The accident happened at around 17:30 and authorities are still on the scene.
This comes after three people were killed and three sustained serious injuries in an accident on the N1-24 yesterday (Friday 14 December). It is alleged a Nissan LDV veered off the road and caught fire after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
