Foreign national arrested for driving at 192km/h on the N1

The man was arrested and detained at the Westenburg Police Station

POLOKWANE – Yet another speedster has been arrested on the N1 for travelling above the speed limit.

A Zimbabwean national was arrested on Saturday afternoon, 8 December, for driving at a speed of 192km/h in a 120km/h zone, says spokesperson for the Department of Transport, Matome Moremi-Taueatsoala. 

Moremi-Taueatsoala says the man was driving on the N1 next to the Ranch Hotel and was arrested and detained at the Westernberg Police Station.
