3 funky designs to spruce up your nails
Local nail technician, Minkie Molepo, shares three nail art designs for funky nails.
Polka dots on your nails:
– Apply any colour nail polish on your nails and wait for it to dry.
– Take bobby pins (black thin pins), dip a different coloured nail polish with a bobby pin, then dip dots on your nails (making as many polka dots as you would like).
– This can be done on all your nails or some of the nails to make it look creative and unique.
Diagonal shapes on your nails:
– Make sure that your nails are clean and nail polish free.
– Cut a transparent of black sticking tape.
– Paste the tape diagonally on each nail as you apply nail polish on the side.
– Wait for the nail polish to dry.
– When nail polish is dry, remove the tape and you have a beautiful DIY diagonal design.
How to make some gradient on your nails:
– Apply nail polish and wait for it to dry half way.
– Take a sponge and pat/dab it on your nails to make some gradients on the nails.
“You can make so many nail designs or art using different objects at your house. You just have to think outside the box,” Minkie added.
