Toddler (3) dies in pit toilet
The police in Seshego are investigating the death of a 3-year- old toddler after he allegedly fell into a pit toilet on Wednesday at Moletjie Diteteng.
POLOKWANE – It is alleged the toddler was playing at his aunty house when she took him to relive himself nearby the toilet, said Constable Maphure Manamela.

“His aunt took off his clothes and left him to relieve himself outside the toilet as usual and continued her house chores. When she noticed she had not seen the toddler for some time she searched for him without success. She then reported the matter to the Police who searched the area until the boy body was found inside the pit toilet,” explained Manamela.

The circumstances leading to this tragic event are still under police investigation.
Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba has warned parents and guardians to be vigilant at all times to avoid this type of incidents from re-occurring.
