[LIVE] #SAFTUStrike underway at SABC Park
The South African Federation of Trade Unions (Saftu) and its 21 member unions are embarking on a countrywide strike today.
POLOKWANE – The strike is in opposition of the new National Minimum Wage Bill and other changes to labour laws.

Members taking part have gathered at SABC Park and will march to the Departments of Labour and Social Development, among others.

Unions including Saftu, Numsa as well as ICTU are represented at the march.
Hundreds of people have gathered so far with more people expected from Seshego and other areas.
It is unknown what route the marchers will take.
