POLOKWANE – According to police spokesperson Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, the police’s relentless fight against all serious crimes in Limpopo, continue to yield positive results.

This follows a tactical joint operation conducted this week and finishing this morning, which focused on crime syndicates involving car hijackings and burglaries throughout Seshego.
“The seven suspects arrested are from Moletjie, Clayville, Seshego, Nance-Field in Musina and ga-Mashashane and were connected to a number of cases in and around Seshego, Giyani and Musina,” Ngoepe explained.
Four suspected stolen motor vehicles were recovered during the arrest, including a white BMW 3 series (which was reported stolen in Chatsworth, KZN), a blue BMW 3 Series, a white Isuzu bakkie and a Toyota corolla.

“Preliminary police investigations have revealed that the two luxury BMW’s were to be smuggled into Zimbabwe,” Ngoepe added.
The origin of the other three vehicles is still being determined by police and investigations continue.
“The suspects will appear before the Seshego Magistrates Court soon,” Ngoepe conluded.
