Local soccer fans will now have the opportunity to kick for R1 million and to be awarded for their support and passion of the game through the Unique Ticket Zone experience at the Polokwane Derby in May.

POLOKWANE – The Woza Nazo campaign which loosely translates to Bring it On, was launched at the Seshego Circle on Tuesday, 20 February which proceeded to the Limpopo Mall on Wednesday, 21 February, to the Absa Polokwane Regional Office on Thursday, 22 February, Absa Lebowakgomo and the University of Limpopo on Friday, 23 February and the Peter Mokaba Sports Complex on Saturday, 24 February.

The Woza Nazo campaign is an Absa brand brought forward for the 2017/18 Absa Premier season which draws on the loyalty and passion that both players and fans have for the sport and their teams.

According to the Absa Northern Region Managing Executive Oscar Siziba, the campaign was established to not only excite the players but to also reward the team’s supporters.

“Woza Nazo is really about rivalry, fans standing behind their teams and having fun. We really encourage the fans to continue supporting their favourite teams. Bring it on, so the fans really show emotion when they support their teams and that is what the Woza Nazo campaign is about. It comes with the excitement where fans have an opportunity to be part of the 10 fans that will kick for a R1 million in May. For the Limpopo Derby we will have one of the fans who will be able to participate in the penalty kick-out for R1 million,” Siziba explained.

He added the rivalry adds to the game. “The derby rivalry is a huge deal as we get to enjoy having two teams from Limpopo in a big match. I am happy that the city was painted red with fun, engaging activities and we were encouraging fans of both Baroka FC and Polokwane City to get behind teams and celebrate their passion of the beautiful game,” he concluded.
