Polokwane and Mokopane placed on ‘severe thunderstorm watch’
The weather service says thunderstorms are expected between 14:00 this afternoon and 22:00 tonight.
POLOKWANE – Both Polokwane and Mokopane are currently under a “severe thunderstorm watch” on the South African Weather Service’s website.
The weather service suggests seeking shelter immediately, if you are outside, and not to seek shelter under a tree, telephone or power lines, on hilltops or under unprotected gazebos or tents.

The Southern parts of Limpopo have also been placed under the watch.
