POLOKWANE – As a result of the road works, traffic flow from Schoeman Street has been affected.
“The construction project is part of the rehabilitation of Thabo Mbeki Street between Schoeman and N1 Traffic Circle and it is expected run for about six to seven weeks,” the municipality said.
Point duty personnel have been deployed to assist with traffic flow but the municipality advises motorists to use alternative routes during this period and adhere to traffic signs.
The alternative routes to be used are as follows:
– Turn left at Dorp Street and proceed to Suid Street to join N1, or
– Turn right at Biccard Street and access CBD through Jorrisen and other streets.
The municipality has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
