Gymnasts leaps and bounds above the rest
Marshall Gymnastics Academy's (MGA) gymnasts showcased superb skill during two recent invitational competitions.
MOKOPANE – MGA Senior Artistic gymnasts, Melody Raats, Jan van der Baan, and Ruan Goosen, beat their best at the Gymagic and Eldo Stars Competitions in Kempton Park and the Matsport Centre in Eldoraigne.
They achieved the following results: Ruan Goosen obtained a top ten overall place and fourth place on the vault.
Jan van der Baan received a first place on the rings, a third place on the vault and an overall sixth place.
Melody Raats received a third place on the vault, a fourth place on the beam and an overall ninth place.
All three of these gymnasts qualified to compete at the Limpopo trials taking place on 15 and 16 September at the Matsport Centre in Eldoraigne.
