Patel’s murder trial to begin on 26 September
The Patel murder trial was postponed yet again as Patel's lawyer (Tumi Mokwena) is ill and couldn't represent him in court.
POLOKWANE – The case was postponed to 26 September, this after it was postponed twice ( Monday, 3 July and today, 13 July) due to Mokwena being unfit to represent his client due to medical reasons.
The case of #RameezPatel has been postponed to Thursday, 13 July, due to the illness of his lawyer, Tumi Mokwena

Patel is accused of murdering his wife, Fatima, on 10 April 2015.

Advocate Floyd Lekgodi, represented Mokwane in court to excuse him from proceedings and asked for a postponement until Mokwena was fit to represent his client.
