[IN PICTURES] Limpopo Knights Braai Competition – round 1
The 1st round of the Limpopo Toyota Knights Braai Competition took place on Monday night 3 July at the Polokwane Golf Club.
POLOKWANE – The teams were Willem Vos and Henry de Nysschen from Laerskool Pietersburg-Oos, Juan Vos and Frans Jacobs from Curro Heuwelkruin, and Francois Lottering and Erika van Onselen from Hoërskool Pietersburg (PHS).
In order to win, the contestants had to prepare a main dish, side dish, potbrood and dessert to impress the judges, Dirk Liebenberg, Marjorie Knoetze and Bradley Mockford.
The theme for this year’s competition is Story Time and each team had to tell a story with their dishes.

PHS was crowned the winners of this year’s first braai-off and are through to the next round of the competition.
Next week’s meat was drawn by Zilla Ferns and contestants will have the opportunity to test their hand at making seafood on the braai.
