Boy (12) dies following lion attack in Lephalale
Kristian Prinsloo, the boy who was attacked by a tame lion three weeks ago, passed away this morning.This just two days after his 12th birthday.
LIMPOPO – Kristian, who had been comatose since the attack, was unaware of all the messages of encouragement and prayers he received.

His parents, Adri and Herman Prinsloo posted the following message on a Facebook page in Kristian’s honour: “Kristian Josef Armand Prinsloo passed away at 10:50. Love you my son. Herman and Adri Prinsloo”.
According to a family member, the couple encountered fertility problems for 12 years before Adri fell pregnant with Kristian, who they call their miracle. “It saddens us as a family to think that they struggled for 12 years before their miracle came and 12 years later, he is taken away from them.”
Herman posted this prayer on the Facebook page on Kristian’s 12th birthday: “Heavenly Father, We thank you that 12 years ago, through Your grace, we received a miracle child with a sense of humour and a contagious laugh. He had a strong love for people, whether he knew them or not, and he loved nature and animals. Lord, may this day be filled with Your boundless grace and superhuman healing, and bless everyone his story touched and may we experience Your love and love each other as you commanded. Lord we thank You in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen”.
