The accident, which occurred in Schoeman Street, was as a result of a taxi skipping the red traffic light.
POLOKWANE – Following an accident in the CBD yesterday morning which killed a woman, Review is in possession on CCTV footage from the accident.

Police are currently investigating a case of culpable homicide.
Polokwane police spokesperson WO Lesiba Ramoshaba said that there have been no arrests made and that there will be no arrest.
“In a case like this, police gather information and statements and that is then given to the court to make a decision,” he explained.
Ramoshaba also noted that the police are unaware of reports that the taxi driver ran away from the scene.
He urged people to drive safe and obey road traffic signs.
