Woman killed in Schoeman Street after taxi skips traffic light
A woman (35) was killed after being hit by a cash in transit vehicle this morning.
POLOKWANE – According to eyewitnesses, the cash in transit vehicle was allegedly hit by a taxi that skipped a red traffic light and the vehicle mounted the pavement, hitting and killing the woman.
Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide.
Motorists are advised that traffic is backed up just after Schoeman street between Rissik and Devenish Streets.
