LIMPOPO – The police have arrested a 36 year old suspect who allegedly stabbed and killed a deputy school principal in front of Lenyenye Magistrate court outside Tzaneen reports Letaba Herald.
According to information 45-year-old Shai Mapampole Hendrick, a principal at Banareng Primary school , was appearing as an accused in a taxi- related case when he asked the court to allow him to contact his lawyer who was not in court at the time. He was not in custody, Spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said.

The case in question is an assault case which was opened in September last year.
“In what appeared to be a vengeance attack, the deceased was stabbed by the suspect at the entrance of the court room as he was about to make the call. The deceased managed to get back into the court room, walked through to the magistrate’s office where he collapsed and died,” he added.
Mojapelo confirmed that the suspect was immediately arrested and will appear before the same court on Monday,” he added.
