Groblersdal accident leaves 4 dead, 3 injured
It is alleged that two vehicles, a LDV Pick-up and sedan collided head on next to the Loskop Valley Loge.
LIMPOPO – The Police in Groblersdal are investigating a case of culpable homicide following a head-on collision between a sedan and a bakkie along the R33 Denilton road earlier today (Thursday).
According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson, LT Col Moatshe Ngoepe, it is alleged that two vehicles, a LDV Pick-up and sedan collided head on next to the Loskop Valley Loge.
“All four occupants, two men and two woman, in the sedan were killed on impact. Three occupants from the LDV Pick-up sustained minor to serious injuries and were taken to hospital for medical treatment,” said Ngoepe.
Ngoepe added the names of the deceased will be released after their families are notified.
The cause of this accident is still unknown and police investigations continue concluded Ngoepe.
