POLOKWANE – According to police, the woman was arrested at the RDP settlement in Leeuwfontein on Wednesday for the murder of her boyfriend.
Marble Hall Police Spokesperson, Constable Lethunya Mmuroa, said it is alleged the victim, who cannot be named before the next-of-kin are informed, and the suspect were involved in an argument which became violent.
“The suspect stabbed the victim with a knife and he died at the scene. Police were called and a case of murder was opened. The deceased was transported to Groblersdal state mortuary. The suspect was arrested and will appear before the Groblersdal Magistrate’s Court on a charge of murder,” Mmuroa explained.
It is still not clear what the argument was about. Police investigations are underway.
