MOKOPANE – PEPPS Mokopane recently held its first fun day to raise funds for the Percy Fyfe Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

The children dressed up as the animals of their choice and had a parade. The children with the most original costumes went through to the final round and each finalist received a prize.

Marcelle Maritz, SPCA Percy Fyfe manager, along with Irene Kekana, an SPCA employee, visited the school on 21 September in order to promote SPCA awareness. They had an informative discussion with the children regarding what the SPCA stands for and what they do for animals.
