The new Marvel Studios superhero thriller, Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, arrives at Nu Metro cinemas in Pretoria on Friday – launching Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Push the limits of possibility and experience it with the superpower of Menlyn Park’s larger-than-life Xtreme and multi-sensory 4DX cinemas.

Fall in love with the grumpiest man in the world in the new movie starring Tom Hanks.

And, Kevin Hart’s new action-comedy starts showing on Wednesday at Menlyn Park, followed by Nu Metro Mams mall in Mamelodi next Friday.

Here are the movies releasing at Nu Metro cinemas this week:

ANT-MAN AND THE WASP: QUANTUMANIA (10-12PG V)

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), along with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), explore the Quantum Realm in Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania – where they interact with strange creatures and embark on an adventure that goes beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. This is the first movie to also introduce Kang (Jonathan Majors) – the new villain posing a threat to the universe.

A MAN CALLED OTTO (16 LV)

Tom Hanks stars in the touching new comedy-drama, A Man Called Otto. He is a grump who’s given up on life following the loss of his wife and wants to end it all. When a young family moves in nearby, he meets his match in quick-witted Marisol, leading to a friendship that will turn his world around.

DIE HART (16 LV)

Kevin Hart is the face of fear in the face of danger in Die Hart – the action-packed new comedy which starts showing at Nu Metro Menlyn Park on Wednesday, February 22. It will also be showing at Nu Metro Mams mall from next Friday, February 24. The story follows a fictionalised version of Kevin Hart, as he tries to become an action movie star. He attends a school run by Ron Wilcox (John Travolta), where he attempts to learn the ropes on how to become one of the industry’s most coveted action stars.
