Lewele was last seen in the company of an unknown man in an unidentified VW motor vehicle and is believed to have been en-route to Marabastad in Pretoria.

Sunnyside police have urged residents to help them find missing Lance Lewele.

“We are appealing to the public to assist to locate the former chairperson of Sunnyside youth crime prevention desk, Lance Lewele,” Sunnyside police spokesperson Captain Daniel Mavimbela said.

According to the police, Lewele was reported missing on Saturday, November 26.

Mavimbela said Lewele was last seen on Saturday morning at a construction site in Meintjies Street, Sunnyside.

He said Lewele worked at the construction site as a community liaison officer.

“He is believed to have been in the company of an unknown man who drove a VW motor vehicle of an unidentified model. He is said to have mentioned to an eyewitness on their departure from the site that they were proceeding to Marabastad in Pretoria.”

Police urged anyone with information that could help to locate Lewele to contact them anonymously on 08600 10111 or call Detective Sergeant Samson Makapane on 071 412 9484.
