Help west police find missing 12-year-old girl

Siyabonga Tshanduko Mutalwane was last seen wearing a white top with blue jeans.

Police are searching for 12-year-old Siyabonga Tshanduko Mutalwane, who went missing on October 5.

According to Detective Lucky Kekana, Mutalwane was last seen at her home in Mshongo Informal Settlement, Atteridgeville.

Kekana said the pre-teen left home without telling anyone where she was going.

Mutalwane was last seen wearing a white top with blue jeans.

“Matulwane was reported missing on Saturday, October 12 after her family searched all the places she usually goes to,” said Kekana.

According to the police’s website, there is no waiting period to report a person missing.

The website states that a missing person should be reported to the nearest police station immediately.

Tips on how to report a missing person:

– Produce a recent photograph of the missing person, if possible.

– Give a complete description of the missing person’s last whereabouts, clothes that they were wearing, as well as any information that can assist the investigating officer.

– Obtain the investigating officer’s contact details, and send any additional information that might become available.

– If a missing person is found or returns voluntarily, inform the investigating officer immediately.

– A SAPS 92 form must be completed to inform the Bureau of Missing Persons that the missing person’s report can be removed from the circulation system.
