Here is the official petrol price for October

The official fuel price adjustments have been published that will kick in on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Here is the official price.

The Department of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has announced the official fuel price adjustments effective from Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

After a positive recovery in early September, the stable global oil price and a stronger rand against the dollar have significantly decreased petrol and diesel prices.

“The rand appreciated, on average, against the US dollar … during the period under review. This led to lower contributions to the basic fuel prices of all products by over 21.00 cents per litre,” the department added.
