Roads impacted during air show

The Africa Aerospace and Defence Air Show starting tomorrow will affect intersections around the Waterkloof Airbase.

The Africa Aerospace and Defence Air Show will take place at the Air Force Base Waterkloof from September 17-22.

The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) recently issued a list of roads that would be affected by this show in the Waterkloof area this week.

The following intersections around the vicinity of Waterkloof Airbase will be affected for the duration of the event:

– R21 and Solomon Mahlangu Drive

– Van Ryneveld Avenue and Solomon Mahlangu Drive

– Kruger Avenue and River Road

– River Road and Topaz Avenue

– Topaz Avenue and Amkor Road

– Amkor Road and Botha Avenue

– Van Ryneveld Avenue and Theron Street

– Van Ryneveld and Hertzog avenues

– Van Ryneveld and Pieter Botha avenues

– Van Ryneveld Avenue and Castle Gate

– Van Ryneveld Avenue and Fouche Road

– Van Ryneveld Avenue and Mazereon Cress

– Van Ryneveld Avenue and Nellmapius Drive

– Nellmapius Drive and Mazereon Crescent

– Nellmapius Drive and R21

– Van Ryneveld Avenue and Van Der Spuy Street

TMPD officers will be deployed for the duration of the event for traffic control and to monitor affected intersections.
