Here are the three changes that you should know of:

AI Voices:

WABetaInfo reports that WhatsApp is testing a new voice chat mode for communicating with Meta AI on Android. This feature will enable real-time conversations with Meta AI, and users will be able to choose from 10 different AI voices to personalize their interactions. Although still in development, this mode aims to enhance user engagement and customization.

Event Management:

A recent public update for iOS now allows users to create and manage events directly within group chats. This feature enables users to input details such as event name, description, date, and optional location, and to choose between voice or video calls. Notifications will be sent to all members who accepted the invitation, with all event details being end-to-end encrypted to ensure privacy. Some users may experience a delay in receiving this update.

Avatar Visibility:

A new Android Beta reveals that WhatsApp is introducing a feature to display avatars in user profiles. This update will allow others to view a user’s avatar when they swipe the profile picture in the chat info screen, adding a layer of personalization similar to Instagram’s avatar display. Users will be notified when the update is live and can customize their avatars to reflect their preferences.
