Help Mamelodi East police find missing man

Tlabego Moswathupha, who was last seen at a Mams tavern in the early hours of July 14, is still missing.

Police are seeking help in locating a 27-year-old man who disappeared in Mamelodi East on Sunday, July 14.

Spokesperson Johan van Dyk said Tlabego Moswathupha was last seen at a tavern in the early hours that Sunday by a mutual friend of Toka Modisha, who reported him missing.

“The complainant alleged that on Friday, July 12 he was with the victim at their place of residence.”

Modisha said he travelled that day to Limpopo and left the victim with all in order.

“Upon his return from Limpopo on Sunday evening, he received a call from the victim’s girlfriend indicating that she had been looking for him to no avail as his phone was on voicemail.”

Van Dyk said Modisha informed the girlfriend he did not know of Moswathupha’s whereabouts as he was not around the entire weekend.

“The complainant further contacted a mutual friend, who informed him that he last saw the victim at a tavern in Mamelodi East in the early hours of Sunday and has not seen him since.”

Mothuphwa was last seen wearing grey jeans, a black jacket, blue Lacoste sneakers and a white cap.
