Police need help finding Nellmapius man

The following morning there was no sign of him, but his cellphone and bank cards were found in his room.

Mamelodi police need help in locating a 33-year-old man from Soul City in Nellmapius who went missing on June 30.

Dumisane Percy Mtshwene mysteriously disappeared from his home leaving his cellphone and bank cards behind.

Police spokesperson, Constable Penelope Khulong, said he was reported missing by his brother on July 1.

She said the brother called a nephew (Dumisane Mtshwene) to indicate Dumisane Percy Mtshwene had disappeared and was nowhere to be found.

“It was further alleged that on June 30, the victim was at home,” said Khulong.

Khulong said the following morning there was no sign of him, but his cellphone and bank cards were found.

“The complainant inquired with family, friends and [his] workplace, but Dumisane Percy Mtshwene had not reported for work either,” said Khulong.

She further said it is not known what the victim was wearing on the day of his disappearance.

Police said that there is no waiting period to report a missing person.
