“Luckily no injuries were reported,” Masondo said.

Masondo said the robbers ransacked the store and made off with an undisclosed amount of jewellery.

He urged everyone with information to contact the Brooklyn police immediately to help solve this case.

Brooklyn Mall confirmed the robbery.

Brits said the police were on-site and an investigation was in progress.

“We confirm that no injuries were reported and trade resumed as normal,” Brits said.

She said the mall takes this incident very seriously.

“The safety and well-being of our shoppers, staff, and tenants remain our top priority,” Brits continued.
