Family searching for missing Riverside resident

Greyscubu Chigubu (30) has been missing since May 31.

The family of Greyscubu Chigubu, a 30-year-old man from Centurion, is pleading with the public to assist with any information that might lead to his whereabouts.

Chigubu, who is also known by his stage name, Grey Milly Newt, was last seen on the night of May 29 between the hours of 23:00 and 01:30 at Time Square Menlyn Casino.

His brother, Leslie Johane, said that Chigubu was last known to have taken an Uber that he often used to get to and from work.

Johane said that his brother’s cellphone was found in the Uber.

Chigubu, who lives in Riverside, was wearing a black T-shirt with a Wase Crax logo, a red Liverpool jacket, black trousers with red stripes, and black flip-flops.

He was carrying two grey backpacks and a small brown travel bag.

The family is desperate for any lead and is appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward to help the search.

A missing person’s case has been opened at Brooklyn SAPS.

Police were not able to comment at the time of publishing.

Anyone with information can contact Leslie Johane on 072 935 4316 or the local police.
